Save raw material – a stapled carton optimizes the Box Design.
The amount of corrugated is an obvious factor that affects the cost of a box. But if the box can be designed to use less material and yet perform the same function, the cost of the box will automatically fall. This can be accomplished by stapling closed boxes, with Bottom Box Staplers and Top Box Staplers. Just folding a simple hard-wearing box and then stapling it will result in a box with both strength and stability. For example, an empty bottom stapled box is able to hold a 172 pound person, without weakening or caving in, try that with a taped box! This shows another advantage to using box staples when closing boxes.
